Design for Social Cause
I sought to come up with a series of posters to be used to highlight corruption and the misuse of democratic power, particularly aimed at the East African population following high profile cases in Kenya and Tanzania. The aim was to have an indirect sarcastic tone, allowing the viewers to come to deduce some of the messaging for themselves. My method here was to start with that end message, a tagline to base the content around. This involved research on the topic beforehand, creating objectivity and highlighting key messages and issues.
Ideation
Slogans

Taking back the power
What's done in the dark... (will come to light)
Helpless no more Turning the tables/Balancing the scales

(Corruption is wrong) ...Unless I'm involved
The system is working... not for you though
We hear you...

A good leader is an invisible one
Mislead and succeed (Their mantra)
Blind by choice
If the catwalk was a talk show
In one ear...out the other
